Why we built the tools

Every “bonus” page has a big number and small print. Every slot has an RTP nobody converts to euros. Every acca has a payout that doesn’t include tax. The six calculators above do the arithmetic the editorial team does before every review — and that every player should do before every bet.

What the results mean in practice

Expectation vs reality. “Expected return” is the average over millions of repetitions. In 500 spins you’ll land somewhere in the range — and high volatility means the range is very wide. That isn’t “bad”: it’s why slots are fun. Just don’t confuse the range with the expectation.

Margin = price. When you see a 4% margin on a 1X2, you buy every outcome 4% “dearer” than fair. Over a year with €2,000 turnover, the gap between 4% and 5% is €20 — a free slip a month. Fonbet is ~0.5% cheaper than average on big events; details in the betting review.

Rollover = cost. A bonus that “costs” more than it gives isn’t a bonus. The value calculator shows why 500 Free Spins at 1x are worth more than “€500” at 35x — even if it sounds backwards.

Tax = planning. The €100 and €500 thresholds per slip mean the way you structure slips changes your net. Ten singles of €90 profit: tax 0. One acca of €900: tax €180.

FAQ

Do the calculators predict the result?⌄
No. They calculate the mathematical expectation and typical range from published RTPs, odds and the tax. One session can be anywhere inside (or outside) the range.
Where do the RTPs come from?⌄
From the providers (Pragmatic, NetEnt etc.) and each game’s “i” tab at Fonbet. Some games have multiple RTP versions — always check the specific one.
Does the tax apply in the casino too?⌄
Yes, with the same brackets, but per session (login → logout or 24 hours), not per spin.
Can I use the tools for other operators?⌄
Yes — the maths is the same. Enter any operator’s odds, RTP or bonus terms.
